‘Design and Make’ Knit

My inspiration for this project came from alleyways. I was drawn to their exaggerated perspectives of shape and, in particular, the patterns of fence panels within these spaces. I was also inspired by the beautiful selection of greens, purples and oranges I found. In response to this research, I created a collection of knitted and woven textile samples for use as room dividers or interior installations.
